Translation & textual notes

Judith 15 narrates the exploitation and liturgical consolidation of the victory. The Assyrian camp dissolves in terror, Israel pursues and plunders, and Jerusalem's priestly leadership comes to Bethulia to name Judith's achievement. The chapter closes with dance and hymn, showing that military reversal reaches its proper end only in corporate praise.
